Unified Facilities Guide Specifications

U.S. Federal Government design and construction often incorporates the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS). The UFGS is used on projects by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

As of February 2015, the UFGS revised the requirements for Specification 01 32 01.00 - "Project Schedule."

New requirements in UFGS 01 32 01.00 Project Schedule include:

  • Project Scheduler Qualifications
  • Software
  • Initial Project Schedule Submission
  • Periodic Schedule Updates
  • Narrative Reports
  • Schedule Reports
  • Requests for Time Extensions
    • Time Impact Analysis (Prospective Analysis)
    • Forensic Schedule Analysis (Retrospective Analysis)
